The Sweet Pea festival is Bozeman’s biggest arts & music festival of the year. The festival was born in 1977 out of the communities desire to celebrate the arts and everything they add to our lives. Over the years it has grown to include the Sweet Pea Ball, The Taste of Bozeman, Shakespeare in the Park, dance workshops, arts and crafts sales, art exhibits, a flower show, concerts, children’s activities, vaudeville, and more. Every Thursday evening through late June to mid-August for 8 weeks, enjoy live music, food and fun in Downtown Bozeman. Bring the kids from 6:30 PM to 8 PM for planned activities games with the Children’s Museum, Montana Outdoor Science School, Haven and other great organizations. Enjoy Live Music from 7 to 8:30PM. Grab a bite to eat from numerous food vendors that will be on site or step into a few of the downtown stores that stay open late!

Join us in a tradition to show our Bobcat Spirit and help the football team get pumped up for the big Cat vs. Griz game on Saturday, November 23rd!
Coach Ash and some of the players will help rally the crowd along with the Spirit of the West Marching Band and MSU Spirit Squad! There will also be free hot dogs and refreshments (while supplies last), Bobcat gear thrown into the crowd and some amazing prize packages raffled off throughout the event! So, come downtown to the MSU/Downtown Cat/Griz Pep Rally and show your Bobcat spirit! Go Bobcats!!

33rd Annual Christmas Stroll

Be a part of Downtown Bozeman’s greatest holiday tradition…the Christmas Stroll. Always on the first Saturday in December, come downtown to officially kick-off the Holiday Season! First, Santa Claus works his way from the Emerson Cultural Center down Main Street, singing Christmas carols and lighting the downtown holiday lights with more than 5,000 people in tow to help get people into the holiday spirit. Then enjoy horse drawn wagon rides, pictures with Santa Claus, entertainment, holiday treats and much more! The fun lasts until 7:30PM. Winter Art Walk

The Downtown Bozeman Association, Downtown Bozeman art galleries, and retailers and the Emerson Center for Art and Culture are proud to present this summer’s Downtown Bozeman ArtWalks. The ArtWalks occur on the 2nd Friday of the month; June through September and again for our “Winter” Art Walk in December from 6 to 8PM in Downtown Bozeman. The businesses and galleries generally feature artists’ openings and receptions during the event and often provide complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. The 2013 Art Walk dates are: June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13 & December 13.

In addition to the featured openings at the galleries and businesses, the Art Walks also feature live performances throughout downtown.
