The air is crisp. Nights are cool, but not too cold. We still haven’t had a freeze, so the fall garden has gone into overdrive. The asters, solidago, phlox and colchicum are in full bloom. The alcea rugosa stands tall. It’s large yellow flowers really pop against the red brick on the north side of the house. Even the William Baffin roses keep going strong!
