Bozeman Film Festival

We are thrilled that outdoor cinema is alive and well close to our Bozeman B&B. There are still three more screenings of  the new Story Under the Stars series, sponsored jointly by the Bozeman Film Festival and Friends of Story Mansion. The films are shown on the lawn of the Story Mansion in Bozeman, Fridays August 21, 28, and September 4, 2009. These films are all free to the public, but should you feel like making a contribution, proceeds will help care for the five acres of park grounds around the mansion.

Three hundred people can fit on the lawn. Arrive early with your blankets or low back lawn chairs, and find a comfortable spot. There is sure to be a festive mood in the air, with music and entertainment each evenings prior to the start of the films at 8:45 pm. Folks are encouraged to walk, bike, or bus it to the event. Luckily, the Story Museum is just a few blocks from our Bozeman bed and breakfast.

Friday August 21: Oscar winning Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid – Starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

Friday August 28:  It’s the swashbuckling Adventures of Robin Hood – starring  Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland.

Friday September 4: Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds will swoop us off our feet in Singing in the Rain.
